i know alot of people that live in college park, which is where i live.  yet we never hang out.    no community at all.  yet we are always excited when we see each other out, like at hoopz.  we should be having barbieques and stuff. movie nights.  i wish i knew some people that me and sarahh could have movie night with. i love movies.  i have seen so many.  if it sucks i like to mysterysciencetheatre3000 that shit.  bbqz are awesome too.  we could have seshiz in parking lots and get some bike experience points.

well im feeling alot better today, actually compared to the dat before yesterday i feel great.  this makes me think rather than the flu, which usually takes 4-7 days to recover from, i had food poisoning.  i guess it is not safe to eat off of dirty dishes in my house.  or drink nothing but beer for 2 days in a row.  but no more drinks for me till tues.  i think.  

cant wait to quit smoking.  thinking of going to bars and drinking without smoking makes me nervous.

so most of my posts are short because i post them while i am bored and taking a shit. usually i read but sometimes there are only realllllly bad books (like dean koontz shit).  however my phone only lets me type 160 letters including spaces.  so while this  may not live up to some peoples furious standards, its me taking a shit.  in more ways than one.  also i like to do this when i am drunk. or hungover. i like punishing myself when im hungover by getting up early (relatively) and then doing demanding activities all day.  hoops was merry last night, and i didnt get super drunk.  also saw jeff and hung out with him for a few and that was cool. thanks bradley, for making me feel awesome cool by getting me into the social free, and getting me a beer. and same to jeff for giving me a beer and talking to me.  damn i should have gotten a hot dog last night.  i think instead of drinks im just going to eat a hot dog every 2o minutes.  mmmmmmmmmmmmm vegan dogs...

Ahhh...out early. Can't wait to get home then to hoops. Its been awhile.

well derek flaked yesterday but thats ok because i got my fixed mountain polo bike put together with the help of mike and ryan.  couple of awesome people.  had a blast over there all day. also sarah is sick which is a bummer.  time to go to work.  i wonder if it will be busy or slow.

my work scheduling the last couple of weeks has been spastic.  its annoying not having a set schedule i never know what days im going to have off.  and the days i do dont seem to be coinciding with the things that i want to do. oh well i did just have 4 days off in a row, and had time to work on sarah's cristx present. its going much better than i thought it would. i cant go into more detail on what it was incase she reads this shit. 

i wanted to get some welding done so i threw a post on ibot but no one hit me back to confirm. i guess i could have made more of an effort. ive been a little to passive about getting this tall trike built and i need to step up and get aggro on it.

my stupid i pod keeps freezing up and it really sucks.  ive only had it for a little while. i have the worst luck with ipods.  im going to try to use a program to upload my songs from the pod to my pc incase it goes down for good.  hopefully it wont erase my library.

paradiddles are coming along well thanks to derek showing me some rudiments.  hopefully i can get decent at drums soon so me and nick can start cannedbads.  gonna try to help with the race on sat but i work at 5. hopefully it ends in time. 

im gonna fuck around for a little while more then go to ethos.  my house is boring.  sometimes i miss having roomates.

vacation all i ever wanted

Recently i went on vacation to fort de soto state park.  its about two hours away south of st. petersborg florida.  we stayed in a spot about 30 ft away from a nice cove where in the morning you could see all kinds of sweet birds like wood storks, pelicans, great and tri colored herons, and Anhingas.  Also if you were really quiet you could surprise the groups of racoons that are trying to break into the car.  yup all night long racoons are always trying to sneak into your campsite and steal your food.  it was hilarious. there were signs every where warning about this, so after every meal you have to put the food back in the car and lock it up. they were bold as hell. as soon as you werent looking they would mess with your stuff.  

Also it was fucking freezing down there. we were sheltered some by the trees, but the wind coming in dropped the temperature down to about 44 degrees (not an exaggeration!).  it was worth it though for the cold woke me up at about 830 every morning , and the second day i walked out to the water and saw dolphins playing around.  it was awesome!!  we also saw dolphins a few times from the bridges that are all over the place around there.

stopped by 66 fixed where i picked up a hipster cyst.  heard about a couple of bars and a place to get some vegan grub.  went to a place called rolled oats, which is like the harmony market of st. pete.  yuppie as fuck.  later that night we went to the emerald bar and i got drunk and played rummy with sarah.  at one point a girl walked up and was throwing herself at me, and started asking if i had any barcode tattoos. it took a while but we finally realized she was talking about blackflag tattoos.  i told her no. after some more awkwardness ( i mean i was sitting right next to sarah!) she finally told me that i was awesome, and then high fived sarah for being with such a cool guy. true story. the girl was obviously wasted, and it was hilarious.  the power of the beard is not to be trifled with!!

we also did some other shit like checked out the fort, and some beaches. rode a trolley, but one of the coolest things was the arboritum.  it was all about palm trees .palm trees are the shit.  i wont go into detail today but soon i will post some pictures and info about the palms i saw from around the world. 

now we are back and i am happy to have gotten to sleep in a warm bed, and to have eaten some ethos. i was going through withdrawals.

next time we are gonna try to get some other people to go with us so we can split the cost of the campsite, and have more people to do stuff with. let me know if your interested. it will probably be during the summer so we can snorkel and shit.

What a great day

Woke up at 845 am (which is a time that should not even exist its so fucking early) to go to fairwinds, which googlemaps doesnt show in my area, but fortunately the banks homepage does. otherwise it would have been a ride to baaldwin park. 

 however it shows it on the wrong side of the road.  So i rode quite a bit out of my way staring blindly into the rising sun looking for this damn place before turning back and realizing that it is really only a few hundred feet from my house.  and the only reason i needed to go to the stupid bank to day was to pay rent. 2 days late. 2 days late = 100 dollar late fee.  property is fucking theft.  anyways after that shit i went home and back to sleep, in our reason for paying late, that is, our new bed.  Which is awesome.  Then I woke up and remembered i had to bring sarah her damn magic money card so she could eat for lunch.  so I rode down to cph and on the way a car decided to just make a left directlyin front of me. which caused me to slide out of control, hit a curb, and cause lots of damage to my cash and prizes. meanwhile these assholes are just staring at me like "wtf are you doing existing in the road??!!"  thats the last time i ride without my u-lock!

 not that i guess i could have done anything to the perps, i was to busy making other drivers think i was nuts (ha!) by riding with my hand in my pants fixing my genitalias orientation. 

also i swear that the wind hates me.  it changes direction so that no matter what direction im going i constantly have a head wind.  

whatever, long story short, i had a great meal from ethos consisting of broc, mash, seitan, and gravy.
