power

this post is about power.  the hunt for power destroys. it exists everywhere around us.  it seperates the men from the boyz.  note the power obelisk thrusting phallically through the earth.  penetrating the sky with its concrete and iron rods. 

it seeks to measure the immeasurable.  to keep track of the use of power in this small suburban eco-system.  but can it measure the wills of the people who use it? no. it cannot.  frozen in time now it will forever cost the same to the viewer, but once it's out of your sight, how much will you pay.  how much are you willing to sacrifice for power?

you may have noticed a lack of new pictures lately. this is because im taking a much needed vacay. all these nights of takign pictures at clubs and various parties has worn me out. this in addition to the mountain of "cocaine" i did off my iphone last night has left me exhausted.

dont worry though i will soon be back to posting serious, soulful, meaningful, hearfelt, quirky, zany, lomo,vintage-inspired, black and white, blurry, overexposed,under exposed, cross-processed, sexy, dirty, funny, photographs.

these are some pictures of my girlfriend and my dog. i say "my" but i dont really own them. that would be slavery. and thats illegal.

they look good because they are in black and white. my dog is black and white already so i didnt have to use photoshop to color her in, but the rest of the picture took forever.

protip: black and white adds a good amount of artistic authenticity to photography. however in most other mediums, using color achieves this effect. for example finger painting in black in white is just finger printing. however throw some colors in there and you can be just like a kid again. no worrying about money, or responsibility! just kidding! thats your life everyday now even though you're in you're 20s!

so yah, this is a picture of my feet. it shows how quirky i am. you know like "hey arent my feet like totally zany yall?"

here is a picture of my friends being cute. totally un-selfconcious and real you know. and they both have tattoos so you know they are pretty fuckin cool. actually the boy in front is totally a tattoo artist. and the girl is in a popular local band, so yah you jelly?

this is me from underwater. it totally means like we are all seen through like a distorted lens, and like no one really knows "me" you know? or some shit

here is a couple of hot dudes. you can see they both have tattoos, and the one in the foreground has glasses. he is also a vegan anarchist christian. this shot is almost too authentic

a good close up of an attractive male. you see how he is "floating above it all". its because like you know attractive people have such easy lives and dont have to deal with the real world like i do. this guy runs the vegan hot dog stand. i know right? i mean it's no big deal, but he is like my best friend

so yah these arts are from a trip to rock springs, which of course once i started going there, it got all popular and shit, so now its lost it's authenticity. but this was a pretty good day, although i almost got my mac wet, which would have been a total bummer
